Marshmallow Slice – is a quick and super easy slice to make with the kids.  To say it is uhem healthy would be a big fat porky pie but it is sweet and yummy.  And let’s face it, who is counting calories in isolation anyway.   If you don’t have rice bubbles but have a packet of sweet biscuits, crush those up and pop them on the bottom of the tray instead.



5 Cups Rice Bubbles

300 grams of Marshmallows

100 grams butter chopped

200 grams milk chocolate



Line a slice tin with baking paper


In a microwave-proof bowl melt marshmallows and butter on high for 1 minute stirring at 30 seconds. Mix with rice bubbles and pour into the prepared tin


Melt milk chocolate in a microwave-proof bowl pour over marshmallow mixture and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 mins.  Turn upside down and cut into squares. Keep refrigerated.
